Inaccuracies on your credit report can significantly impact your credit which means you could get turned down for financing if you are looking to obtain a mortgage, refinance, vehicle finance, or a credit card and if you were approved you could be paying thousands more in interest due to those inaccuracies on your credit report. An inaccuracy can be defined by the Fair Credit Reporting Act as any item that is not accurate, complete, and verifiable. We have seen inaccuracies with many items on credit reports including collections, charge-offs, late payments, bankruptcies, student loans, foreclosures, repossessions, personal information, account balances, judgments, tax liens, utility collections, medical collections, inquiries, and many more. I know you have the best credit repair program, but how much does it cost?We have a tiered pricing structure that is truly based on the amount of inaccuracies on your credit report. We do our pricing this way in order to stay compliant with CROA and FTC guidelines. Therefore, in order to quote a price we require a credit report so we can determine how we can help and how many inaccuracies you have on your credit report. Every client and every credit report is different so we custom tailor the program for each individual client. Our number one goal is to improve your credit and financial situation so the last thing we are going to do is try to put more financial stress on you. We complete the work before we ever charge you and can make sure we fit into your budget. We consider this the best investment you can ever make. The results we obtain for you typically save our clients thousands and many times tens of thousands of dollars in mortgage interest, insurance, and the interest on their car financing alone. I can assure you the value that you will get for the price is something you will be very happy with which is why we have so many happy clients and so many people refer their clients to us that don’t qualify for financing due to their credit. We also have a 100% money back guarantee for our services!6. Do you charge upfront or advance fees for your services?

Absolutely not and you should stay away from any credit repair company that charges upfront or advance fees. It is against federal law to do so. CRE offers an entire suite of services which we outline in our agreement before we ever charge a client. We are completely compliant with federal law and our state laws as well. Our owners have represented NACSO in meetings with the FTC, the CFPB, and members of the Senate, and the House of Representatives. We are very involved with not just the compliance of our company, but all companies who do credit repair in the country.

    7. How long is your program?

Our 7 stage credit repair program is 6 months, but most of our clients see results in as little as 30-45 days. If we get all of your credit report inaccuracies corrected before 6 months then your program may be shorter. In addition, if there is any work to be done after 6 months we may continue to work on your account for absolutely no charge! We also have a lifetime guarantee on items we delete or correct.

    8. Are your results permanent?

This is a common question people have as they have heard of credit repair companies who would get items temporarily deleted or removed from their credit report only for them to come back on their credit report a short time after. Our proprietary audit system forces the credit reporting agencies, creditors, or collection companies to permanently correct inaccuracies. We also offer a lifetime guarantee on any inaccurate item that we remove or correct.

    9. Can I do this myself?

You can absolutely do this yourself just as you could represent yourself in a legal matter, fix your car if it breaks down, or treat yourself if you are ill. However, we are experts at what we do and have years of experience in credit repair. Most credit repair companies people hire they are hiring them out of convenience where that company will send out simple form disputes. Our proprietary audit process and knowledge of internal policies and procedures of the credit reporting agencies, creditors, and collection companies is something that other credit repair companies or lawyers doing credit repair do not have. We also are able to keep these agencies accountable by incorporating your consumer protection laws into our 7 stage system. There are many companies who have specialized in credit repair for years who still can’t get near the results that we are able to obtain for our clients. Your credit is very important and costs most people thousands of dollars in financing and these days many job opportunities as well. We recommend letting us give you the peace of mind of getting quick, accurate, and permanent results on your credit report.

    10. Can you help me qualify for a mortgage or refinance?

The most important qualification for a mortgage or refinance is your credit report and your credit scores. Your credit tells lenders whether you are a good candidate to finance a mortgage or refinance a mortgage as they have risk anytime they lend money. Over the past several years there have been many foreclosures and shorts sales which have caused lending practices to tighten up. What we do is make sure we help you to obtain an accurate credit report that is more of a representative of the type of lendable candidate you are! Mortgage guidelines are constantly changing and a direct result of correcting these inaccuracies on your credit report is for your credit scores to rise and many times dramatically as these inaccuracies can have a huge impact on your credit scores. Any time you are looking to make a big purchase such as a house or car it is best to make sure you get your credit scores as high as possible so you qualify for the best interest rates possible. Many mortgage companies, loan officers, realtors, and financial advisors around the country refer their clients to us for this reason. As a part of our program we also remove dispute codes from the credit report which is very important for most lenders to underwrite a mortgage. There are also other factors that have to be determined in order for you to qualify for a mortgage as well. If you would like us to refer you to an expert in this industry we would be happy to do so as well!

    11. Is it true that creditors and collection companies pay to report to my credit?

It is true that the creditors and collection companies pay the credit reporting agencies such as Experian, Transunion, and Equifax to report items to your credit. Most people think of the credit reporting agencies as a consumer agency, however they make money from the creditors and collection companies that are reporting those items on your credit. The credit reporting agencies are very large and powerful entities and most people find it very frustrating when they can’t get results from these agencies who financially gain from the companies reporting these inaccuracies. The CFPB (Consumer Financial Protection Bureau) has been recently put in charge of regulating collection companies and the credit reporting agencies. CRE Credit Services has actually consulted with them on the actions of credit reporting agencies and collection companies violating consumer rights under the FCRA (Fair Credit Reporting Act) and many other consumer protection laws as well.

    12. If I pay a collection or a charge-off will it come off of my credit?

Unfortunately, most of the time if you pay a collection or charge-off it will not be removed from your credit report. Typically it will be updated on your credit report as simply a paid charge-off or paid collection which unfortunately in the credit scoring models does not help your credit scores very much. The fact is even though it is paid it still went into collection or charge-off status and the credit scoring algorithms still consider you high risk. Also, just because a collection or charge-off may come off of your credit report does not mean you would not still owe that debt. The Fair Credit Reporting Act states that the item on your credit report must be complete, accurate, and verifiable and in many cases these items are not reflecting as such on your credit report and that can be devastating to your credit scores. The best thing to do is to have one of our credit analyst take a look at your credit report. They will do a thorough and completely free consultation of your credit report.

    13. Can you help me with identity theft?

Identity theft is the fastest growing crime in America and affects nearly 10 million people a year according to the Federal Trade Commission. It takes the average person $500 dollars and 30 hours to resolve each and every crime of identity theft and many times they still have many problems with their credit. We have had many clients come to us who have gone to lawyers and to the credit reporting agencies themselves and have had a lot of trouble with the dispute process and trying to obtain an accurate credit report. With our program we are able to verify what is right and wrong on a credit report and get reflecting what is accurate by removing any inaccuracies from identity theft.

    14. I don’t have any good credit. Can you help me establish credit?

Helping clients establish credit is a part of CRE’s program. Ideally, you want at least 2 open revolving accounts and one open installment account on your credit report to maximize your credit scores. Credit scoring is very complex and there is a lot of misinformation online about how to improve your credit, how to establish your credit, and how to maintain your credit. Those are all things we will educate you on so you are able to establish and maintain your credit long after our program.

    15. Do you offer any discounts?

We do offer some discounts to military servicemen. Unfortunately, many times when they are serving our country overseas it can be difficult for them to maintain their credit. CRE Credit Services strives to promote credit education to the people who have fought so hard for our country and help them to reestablish themselves financially. We also have discounts for first responders and teachers. As well we are offered in many HR benefit programs at some very large companies and universities. During your free consultation from one of our credit experts make sure you let them know the place of your employment so you can see if your company is a part of our credit education program. If your company would like to join our mission to promote credit education and relieve the burden of financial stress please contact us as well!
